These terms cover the Lavoi app for Mac, and this site.

Free

Lavoi is free to use, for your own work and at work. It is young software: it changes, it can make mistakes, and features can come and go. Dictation stays free for individuals; if Lavoi ever charges, it will be for team features, never for what you use today.

Provided as it is

Lavoi is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, its maker is not liable for any loss that comes from using it, including text written wrongly, pasted in the wrong place, or lost.

What you are responsible for

• Reading what Lavoi wrote before you send it. Lavoi never presses Return, so nothing runs until you do, in a terminal or anywhere else.
• Having the right to record what you record, and telling the people you record that you are.
• Keeping your Mac and your copy of Lavoi up to date.
